Into The Fray brings local contractors into the fight, connecting community equipment owners with the agencies that protect our forests, our towns, and our neighbors.
For Equipment Owners
You've got the equipment and the skill to run it. We handle the federal contracts and all of the government paperwork. Bring your machine into the wildfire fight — we'll take care of the rest. Tap a category to see what qualifies.
Not sure if your equipment qualifies? Tell us anyway — if it can work a fire, we want to know about it.
Get on our radar
Tell us as little or as much as you want about your equipment, and we'll get back to you. No commitment — just a conversation.

Into The Fray LLC bridges the gap between critically needed wildfire equipment and capable owners willing to step in and help protect our forests and communities.
We build organized, ready-to-deploy resources for fast-moving incidents — and as the company grows, we're committed to creating opportunities for veterans to re-engage in service, restoring a sense of operating for a higher purpose through real-world work.

Equipment Owners
Many owners have the capability to perform but not the time to manage registration systems, bids, and government requirements. That's where Into The Fray steps in. Whether you have one machine or an entire fleet, if you can get it to the job site and operate safely and professionally, you may be a fit.
Each partnership is built around scope, equipment type, and the level of support required. Compensation is a share of gross revenue and is discussed directly. You're not locked into full-season commitments — if you have other work, just let us know.
Problems happen in the field. When they do, our job is to stay engaged, solve them quickly, and keep owners supported instead of stranded — from arrival and inspection through the handoff to incident personnel.
How It Works
From the first phone call to demobilization, here's how we bring your equipment onto an incident — and keep it working.
We learn what equipment is involved, where it is, and how it fits wildfire support needs.
We gather what's needed to evaluate readiness and prepare for submission.
We handle bid strategy, resource entry, compliance, and agency communication.
When work is awarded, equipment shows up ready while we manage coordination and billing.
